DEEP FORD (Print)

The Deep Ford is an area of the Fourche Maline Creek at Robber Cave State Park. In the winter trout is stocked here. The scene depicted is late summer/early fall.  We were bass fishing this area out of a kayak. I paddled  upstream as far as I could, the water was low because of the summer.

Somehow, I could  envision a bear hanging out here. I’m sure many a bear has seen in this location just like I have. At that moment, An idea for a painting was born.
